Latest VR technologies to show up in 8th China Animation Fair     07/19/2016 09:11

The 8th China International Animation Copyright Fair (hereafter “The Fair”) will be held from 8th to 22nd August at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre in Dongguan City. The organizing committee confirmed 250 enterprises have registered to exhibit at the Fair, with 920 of 1,014 booths booked by 13th July. Enterprises wishing to join should hurry to register. 

Records show more than 3,500 companies and 450 million people attended The Fair in the previous seven years. Last year 458 enterprises participated drawing a 126% increase in professional audience attendees. The Fair has become a barometer of the Chinese animation industry.  

This year is called the first year of Virtual Reality (VR) industry. Fuelled by global VR fever, the Fair is this year focused on VR technology, inviting exhibitors of interactive entertainment, and planning a centralized VR showcase as the Anime Expo highlight.

Several domestic heavy-weight companies such as Jiudi Digital and Huaxia Animation have already registered to exhibit at the Fair. The former is the first innovation-oriented technological company with successful achievements in commercial localization of VR, while the latter is one of the leading multi-media animation groups in China.
