The 10th China Processing Trade Products Fair (PTPF) will be held from 19th April at Hall III of the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre in Houjie, Dongguan. The fair will last 4 days, with the 19th and 20th aimed at professional audiences, and the 21st and 22nd open to the public. The exhibition area will cover 50,000㎡ and contain 2,050 booths. Currently, more than 70% of booths have been reserved.

To promote the PTPF, the Secretariat has sent representatives to participate in a toy exhibition in Shanghai, the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce held in Foshan, and the 14th China Expo Forum for International Cooperation held in Qingdao, says Fang Shaoming (Vice-Researcher from Dongguan Bureau of Commerce and Vice Director of PTPF Secretariat).

In addition, the PTPF Secretariat has been communicating and negotiating with several industrial associations for more cooperation. With these associations, the PTPF expects to deepen market solicitation and establish a stronger PTPF network.

By 29th January, the PTPF Secretariat has received 1,455 booth applications, approximately 71% of available booths.

This year, the PTPF is closely linked to the theme of memorializing the 40th Anniversary of the Economic Reform and Opening Up. It is also linked to two key points of constructing new open economic system and promoting the creative development of processing trade. Many professional exhibitions will be on show, such as international smart phone and mobile terminal industry, international fashion bags, shoes, and leather goods, and international toys, gifts, and household decorative goods, said Fang.
