The Exhibition of Treasures in Memory of Premier Zhou Enlai opened in Shilong Museum.

On July 1, with the theme of "He is the cynosure of all eyes", the Exhibition of Treasures in Memory of Premier Zhou Enlai opened in Shilong Museum. The precious original photo Zhou Enlai Lost in Deep Thought and the important historical archives of Zhou collected in the State Archives of the Russian Federation are displayed in this exhibition.

The exhibition is divided into five parts: Zhao (Brightness), Gong (Justice), Qing (Integrity), Ai (Kindness),as well as Zhou Enlai and Dongguan. There are more than 200 exhibits, mainly including the precious documents, paintings, calligraphy, inscriptions, photos and excerpts of interviews collected by the film crew during the filming of Centenary of Zhou Enlai, most of which are original works.

The exhibition displays the original inscriptions commemorating Zhou by the international dignitaries and celebrities and revolutionaries of the old generation, precious materials about Zhou's work and life provided by his relatives and staff, and the genealogy, letters and poems written by Zhou himself. The historical archives of Zhou Enlai supplied by the State Archive of the Russian Federation, usually only to Zhou's relatives and the film crew of the Centenary of Zhou Enlai are on rare display.

The exhibition will last until August 2. Individuals can go and visit on their own, while groups need to make reservations in advance by calling the Shilong Museum at 0769-86612066.

1. Watching the documentary Centenary of Zhou Enlai in memory of the 100th anniversary of Zhou Enlai's birth.

2.  Inscriptions, paintings and photos by famous people at home and abroad, including famous artists such as Ba Jin, Cao Yu, Zang Kejia, Zhou Weizhi, Wu Zuguang and others, as well as international celebrities such as Sihanouk, Kissinger, Daisaku Ikeda, Han Suyin and others.

3. Calligraphy and paintings specially inscribed for Centenary of Zhou Enlai by great calligraphers and painters such as Zhao Puchu, Guan Shanyue, Shen Peng, Li Duo and Han Meilin.

4. The Original photograph of Zhou Enlai Lost in Deep Thought taken and inscribed by the famous Italian photographer Giorgio Lotti.

5. The important historical archives of Zhou Enlai once collected inthe State Archive of the Russian Federation and the precious historical materials provided by Zhou's relatives and staff.

7. The "red tourism route"on Zhongshan Road, in Shilong Town, and the Exhibition of Eastern Expedition History held at Zhongshan Memorial Hall in Zhongshan Park, Shilong Town are recommended.

8. The site of the rostrum on which Zhou Enlai delivered a speech. In memory of Zhou's revolutionary deeds in Shilong, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Zhou's birth in October 1998, Shilong rebuilt the rostrum at the site where Zhou delivered his speech and built a bronze statue of Zhou in his military uniform in the Eastern Expedition. Now, the site has become a base for patriotic education in the town.
