Night scene of Nancheng District, Dongguan

At dusk, Hongfu Road all the way to Dongguan Avenue begins to shine with lights, making the whole city look like a colourful picture. Nancheng District invested and implemented the "First International, Nanfeng Square Lighting Night Scene Project", and is currently in the testing stage. These are expected to be completed soon with a transition to normal operations before the Spring Festival.

Nancheng is located in the centre of Dongguan city. In 2016, Nancheng District started the lighting nightscape reconstruction project to further enhance the feel of the city's. The project included the renovation of lighting facilities along main roads such as Hongfu Road, Dongguan Avenue, Yuanmei Road and Guantai Road.

Chen Guiming (Party Secretary of CPC Nancheng District Committee) said that Nancheng will make ecological improvements to develop Nancheng into a city centre suitable for business, living, and entrepreneurship as well as comprehensively improve the city's feel.

On the evening of 16th January, the night lights along Hongfu Road and Dongguan Avenue were lit for the first time, making for a charming Dongguan night sky.
