On 3rd June, the Wanjiang Dragon Boat Race was held at the Wanjiang section of the Dongjiang River. 26 teams from communities in Wanjiang District of Dongguan City gathered to stage a fierce competition.

First, second and third-place winners were the Gonglian Community team, Wanjiang Community and Guchong Community respectively.

With a long history of over 280 years, the Wanjiang dragon boat race enjoys a reputation as the “No.1 dragon boat race in Dongguan”. Since 2013, it has been held once every three years.
