From 29th to 30th June, the Machong Dragon Boat Team represented China and won the championship of three races in the 28th International Dragon Boat Race in Eglisau, Switzerland.

The Machong Dragon Boat Team are champions once again! From 29th to 30th June, the Machong Dragon Boat Team represented China and won the championship of three races in the 28th International Dragon Boat Race in Eglisau. This event is the highest-profile dragon boat race in Switzerland. This is the third time the team gave an outstanding performance at the Dragon Boat Race in Eglisau, winning glory for China and Dongguan.

Champions for third time

The Dongguan Machong Dragon Boat Team has participated in this competition for three consecutive years. It is also the only team to represent China. This year, 10 men and 10 women in Machong were selected to form a team, competing for the elite mixed 400 metre division, the elite 100 metre division and the 400 metre national match.
