Recently, the Serbian Ambassador to China sent a letter of appreciation to Dongcheng District of Dongguan, Dongcheng Chamber of Commerce and several local enterprises for their assistance with Serbia's anti-epidemic fight.

In April, Marko, a Serbian businessman who has been living in Dongguan for more than 8 years, contacted the Dongcheng Chamber of Commerce to express concern about the plight of his country. His hopes were that the Chamber would support epidemic prevention and control efforts in Serbia.

On 18th April, the Dongcheng Chamber of Commerce issued an initiative to all its member companies, requesting medical materials be donated to Serbia. Many businessmen responded to the call to "build a community of shared future for mankind" and did their bit to assist epidemic prevention and control work in Serbia. Five days later, a batch of medical supplies scarce in Serbia arrived. These materials were donated by Dongguan’s goodwill enterprises and sent to Serbia.
