Notification on an imported asymptomatic COVID-19 case's activities in Dongguan

On the morning of January 6th, 2021, Hangzhou City of Zhejiang Province reported an imported case of asymptomatic infection of COVID-19, in a person who tested positive again after being cured. According to the investigation by Zhejiang Provincial Disease Control Department and further verification by Dongguan City, the patient visited Dongguan during the period December 31, 2020 to January 1st, 2021. The details are as follows:

1. On December 31st, 2020, the patient took the train from Guangzhou Station to Shenzhen Station at 12:26 (train No.C7163, carriage No. 6), and between 13:10-13:40 he was in Dongguan Railway Station.

2. From 14:00 on December 31st, 2020 to 14:00 on January 1st, 2021, he stayed at ibis Hotel in Dongcheng District (东城ibis宜必思酒店).

3. From 19:30 to 22:30 on December 31st, 2020, he visited the AL CHILE Mexican restaurant in Dongcheng District (东城AL CHILE墨西哥餐厅).

4. From 22:30 on December 31st, 2020 to 2:00 on January 1st, 2021, he went to the Hollys Bar (霍利斯音乐餐厅) in Dongcheng District.

5. On January 1st, 2021, he took the train from Dongguan East Railway Station to Shanghai South Railway Station at 16:51 (train No.T102, carriage No. 9), and went to the KFC restaurant in Dongguan East Railway Station from 15:10-16:10.

In order to ensure people's safety and health, the following reminders are for those who visited the above venues at the same time period:

1. Please ensure personal protection and go to the nearest nucleic acid sampling station for nucleic acid testing as soon as possible.

2. The above-mentioned personnel should monitor their personal health. If they have symptoms like fever, fatigue, or coughing, they should report to the residential community immediately, wear disposable medical masks, and go to the fever clinics in the nearest hospital immediately. Please don't take public transportation when seeking medical treatment.

The patient is a foreign teacher at a private training institution. On January 5th, as the institution requested, he went to the hospital for nucleic acid test and the result was positive, which was later confirmed by the city's Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The patient was diagnosed as an asymptomatic case with COVID-19 in the UK in April 2020. He underwent a 14-day quarantine in Guangzhou after entry into China in December 2020, and he arrived in Hangzhou on January 2nd, 2021.
