The "New Industries, New Power" ceremony in Dongkeng venue

On February 26th, the "New Industries, New Power" ceremony was held simultaneously in Dongkeng town, Shuixiang Functional Zone, and Tangxia town. A total of 72 significant projects start construction in the first quarter, with a total investment of 28.9 billion RMB.

The projects contain 58 industrial projects with a total investment of 23.7 billion RMB; 8 infrastructure projects with a total investment of 2.7 billion RMB; 6 livelihood projects with a total investment of 2.5 billion RMB. Among them, 57 projects are included in the municipal major projects list.

Industrial projects play a dominant role in this quarter, with a total investment of 20.46 billion RMB. They cover the strategic emerging industries such as information technology, integrated circuits, new materials, life sciences and biotechnology, and featured profitable industries involving textile and garment manufacturing, food and beverage processing manufacturing, and furniture manufacturing.
