Ten red-themed tourist routes in Dongguan released

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports has launched a series of "red tour" routes combining natural scenic spots with revolution-themed attractions.

The ten routes cover the revolutionary sites, historical-cultural relics and remains, characteristic ancient villages, natural scenic spots, industrial manufacturing sites and other cultural tourism resources in 23 towns and streets, which connect 22 red tourist spots, including Zhou Enlai's Dongzheng lecture stage site; 11 historical and cultural tourist spots including Keyuan Garden, nine urban tourist spots reflecting the achievements of reform and opening up like the Taiping Handbag Factory Exhibition Hall; 8 rural tourist spots including the Nanshe ancient village of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and eight eco-tourism scenic spots including Yinpingshan Forest Park. It can be described as a combination of visiting, learning, travelling, and experiencing, covering a wide range of areas.
