Dongguan is heading into a windy and cooler week as both typhoon"Fung-wong" and two cold fronts make their presence felt.

According to meteorological authorities, Typhoon "Fung-wong," the 26th of this year, has entered the South China Sea and is expected to make landfall along the southwestern coast of Taiwan on November 12, bringing strong winds and heavy rainfall to nearby regions.

Though the typhoon won't directly hit Guangdong, its outer circulation, combined with a surge of cold air, will affect Dongguan's weather over the coming days.

From November 11 to 13, the city will experience mostly cloudy skies with gusts reaching Force 6 and a slight drop in temperatures. Between November 14 and 15, the weather will turn clearer but remain cool, especially in the mornings and evenings. Another round of cold air will arrive between November 16 and 19, bringing more sunshine along with another temperature dip.

Experts remind residents to stay alert for gusty winds and dress appropriately for the cooler mornings and nights.
