Job-seeking expat professionals in China can visit www.expatcareer.com.cn, an online recruitment website recently launched by the Shenzhen Center for International Exchange of Personnel, one of the organizers of the China International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP).

Due to the pandemic, the 20th CIEP will be held online Thursday without offline physical exhibitions. This year, the online recruitment website for expats adds life and cultural services to help expats understand Chinese culture and better integrate into Chinese lifestyles.

The 2022 Cloud Recruitment for Expats website, which the organizer aims to build into an international service platform, focuses on promoting exchanges among global expat service agencies, providing professional services such as consulting for work permits and tourism, medical and training services, and company registration.

The expat job fair has become one of CIEP's important sideline event since it was held in Beijing in 2005. Over 8,000 foreign talents from over 30 countries and regions have participated in the fairs.

For this year's event, conference attendees can visit sections such as Shenzhen Forum, Virtual Exhibition Halls, Project Making and Online Recruitment, and Theme Activities through the organizer's official website at www.ciep.gov.cn. Some of the services will last until November.

At the Shenzhen Forum, the organizer will arrange a core forum and four parallel forums, inviting speakers around the themes of international science and technology innovation and cooperation, and internationalization talent exchange and cooperation, according to the organizer.

The Virtual Exhibition Hall, which features AR/VR and 3D technologies, will display China's scientific innovation and international exchanges, coordinated regional development, strategic and newly emerging industries, fintech and cooperation with international talent agencies.

Relying on the EO (Expert Online) system, the organizer will provide targeted project matchmaking and exchange services for enterprises and institutions from home and abroad in technology research, cooperation and transfer, and job recruitment.
