  Jau Gok (Deep Fried Dumplings)   

  Jau Gok should be made with egg, flour, and lard (the lard is used to make a crispy skin). Although some people prefer not to use lard, Jau Gok without a crispy skin tend too be too brittle. After being rolled into a sheet, the dough is cut with a round cup or a metal mould.
