
Dongguan, known as the "Capital of Art Toys in China," is set to host the China Art Toy Brand Development Conference and HI FUNNY World Art Toy & Animation Festival from December 5 to 8.

This event, supported by the China Toy & Juvenile Products Association and the Association Internationale du Film d'Animation (ASIFA), will bring together over 400 brands and hundreds of industry elites, from innovative designers to animation giants, in a groundbreaking fusion of virtual and tangible creativity.
The event will attract nearly 200 international guests from 40 countries, including renowned animation producers, directors, and comic artists. Highlights include keynote panels featuring prominent figures such as Suwa Michihiko, the producer of Detective Conan, and master illustrators from France, Argentina, and Italy.
For fans of animation festivals, Dongguan will also showcase works from 5 prestigious festivals like Germany's ITFS, Japan's New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival, and Canada's Ottawa International Animation Festival, marking their debut in China.
As a bridge between the animation and art toy industries, HI FUNNY aims to break the "dimensional wall" that separates these fields. The event will feature:
Brand development: The event will attract more than 400 brands, and over 400 industry leaders, including animation studios like I.G Productions and Toei Animation, leading art toy brands 52TOYS、TOYCITY, alongside major platforms such as Tencent and Bilibili, will participate in the activity. Industry leadership: The HI FUNNY Awards will honor achievements in toy design, manufacturing, and IP creation. Over 400 industry leaders.
