In the early stage of development, the Company differentiated itself by developing and manufacturing for the first time matte antique tiles that emphasize personalized antique-looking style of decoration. Since then more than 200 new products have been launched each year. Other than the R&D Center and the Post-doctoral Research Station, the Company has an independent basic research department and design research department with an excellent design & creative team. Furthermore, the Company has been partnering with many world-renowned enterprises in Italy, Spain, etc. An industry-university-research institute experimental center has been established through collaboration many domestic colleges and universities. In 2004 China Architecture Ceramics Museum was built with a gross investment of 30 million yuan, which became the country’s first enterprise-based stated-owned museum. Professor Chen Fucheng, a master of pettifoggery art, was engaged so that traditional Chinese poetry, painting and calligraphy can be blended into tiles through pettifoggery. The perfect combination of artistic ceramics and building ceramics resulted in the creation of a full new cultural product, which substantially enhanced the added value of the products and enterprise influence. In January 2013, China Architecture Ceramics Museum was listed as the Demonstration Base of Industrial Tourism in Guangdong Province and an AAA National Tourist Attraction.
