According to records in “Dongguan County”, Tang Huan came to Dongguan when ancestors brought the food from northern China. In the ancient central plains, Tang Huan were made of flour, but this became glutinous rice flour when it entered the Lingnan region, ultimately ending up frying in a pan until cooked.
