The audience will experience Qing Dynasty porcelain's profound cultural connotation and exquisite craftsmanship in the immersive exhibition space.
As a world cultural heritage protection unit, the Shenyang Imperial Palace is one of the two most intact imperial group-buildings ever existing in China. Built on the palace ruins, the Shenyang Palace Museum is a treasure trove of ancient palace artworks, with palace porcelain being one of its most distinctive collections.
Via sorting Chinese ceramics, the exhibition classifies the porcelains on display into those for food, furnishings and ceremonial ones. The exhibition uses red walls, yellow tiles, green glazed Qing Palace buildings as design elements. It displays exquisite ceramic relics in a combination of scenarios, trying to reproduce the court life of the Qing Dynasty and the cultural taste of the emperors. It will allow the audience to appreciate traditional Chinese art and culture at close range.
