2. Two metro lines

● Dongguan Metro Line 2 phase III

The line starts from Humen Railway Station, goes south along Liansheng Road and crosses the urban area of Humen Town, and then enters Shajiao along Binhai Avenue, and finally arrives at Jiaoyiwan.

It is about 17.3 kilometers in length and has 8 stations, namely: Humen North Station, Humen Avenue Station, Jinjie Road Station, Guangming Road Station, Binhaiwan Station, Hong Kong-Macao Ferry Terminal, Jiaoyiwan West Station and Jiaoyiwan Station. It is expected to start construction in the second half of this year.

● Dongguan Metro Line 3 phase I

The line starts at Jiaoyiwan Station in Binhaiwan New Area and ends at Dongguan East Station in Changping, running through Chang'an, Songshan Lake, Dalingshan, Dongkeng and Changping.

The line has a total length of 51.5 kilometers, and about 20 stations are known at present. There are 3 transfer stations: Jiaoyiwan Station, where passengers may interchange to Shenzhen Line 20, Songshan Lake Station, where passengers may transfer to Dongguan Metro Line 1, and Songshan Lake North Station, where passengers may change for Dongguan-Huizhou Intercity.
