From 00:00-24:00 on November 15, Dongguan reported 20 asymptomatic cases (7 in Songshan Lake, 3 in Wanjiang District, 2 in Nancheng District, 2 in Tangxia Town, 2 in Zhongtang Town, 1 in Liaobu Town, 1 in Changping Town, 1 in Xiegang Town). Among them, 11 cases were identified during the period of centralized quarantine, 2 were found in the period of home-based quarantine, 3 were found in close contacts, 1 was found among the key personal in closed-loop management group and 3 were found during the community screening. Detailed information is as follows:

Asymptomatic case 1-2: Living in Shenghe Community, Nancheng District. 

Asymptomatic case 3: Living in Wanjiang Community, Wanjiang District. 

Asymptomatic case 4: Living in Tutang Village, Changping Town. 

Asymptomatic case 5: Living in Gaoxiang Road, Songshan Lake. 

Asymptomatic case 6: Living in Huanhu Road, Songshan Lake. 

Asymptomatic case 7-8: Living in Hetian Village, Zhongtang Town. 

Asymptomatic case 9: Living in Caole Village, Xiegang Town. 

The cases above were all identified in close contacts during the period of centralized quarantine.

Asymptomatic case 10 (identified during the period of centralized quarantine): Living in Jianshazhou Community, Wanjiang District who was put under centralized quarantine management after arriving Dongguan from other cities and tested negative on November 13. 

Asymptomatic case 11 (found among the key personal in closed-loop management group): Living in Wanjiang Community, Wanjiang District. The case tested negative from November 8 to November 13. The result in the initial COVID screening on November 14 showed positive and remained positive after re-testing by Dongguan CDC.

Asymptomatic case 12 (found in the period of home-based quarantine): Living in Tangquan Community, Liaobu Town who returned to Dongguan from other cities and tested negative on November 13. 

Asymptomatic case 13-14: Living in Tangxia Community, Tangxia Town. The case 13 was found during the community screening and tested negative from November 9 to November 13. The result in the initial COVID screening on November 14 showed positive and remained positive after re-testing by Dongguan CDC. The case 14 was found in close contacts.

Asymptomatic case 15 (found during the community screening): Living in Libeiling Village, Dalang Town. The case returned to Dongguan from other provinces and tested negative on November 13. The result in the initial COVID screening on November 14 showed positive and remained positive after re-testing by Dongguan CDC.

Asymptomatic case 16 (found during the community screening): Living in Fuheng 2nd Road, Songshan Lake. The case tested negative from November 8 to 12. The result in the initial COVID screening on November 14 showed positive and remained positive after re-testing by Dongguan CDC.

Asymptomatic case 17 (found in close contacts): Living in Daxue Road, Songshan Lake. The case tested negative from November 10 to 14 and was put under centralized quarantine management on November 15.

Asymptomatic case 18 (found in the period of home-based quarantine): Living in Nanshan Road, Songshan Lake. The case was a close contact of the previous positive cases and tested negative on November 12 and 13. 

Asymptomatic case 19 (found in close contacts): Living in Nanshan Road, Songshan Lake. The case tested negative on November 13 and 14 and was put under centralized quarantine management on November 15.

Asymptomatic case 20 (found in close contacts): Living in Gaoxiong Road, Songshan Lake. The case tested negative from November 8 and 14 and was put under centralized quarantine management on November 15.

To eliminate the risk of the spread of the epidemic, citizens who have been to the following places during the following periods, please take the initiative to report immediately to the community, employers or hotel where you live, and cooperate with epidemic prevention and control work. People who experience fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, decreased sense of smell (taste), nasal congestion, runny nose, conjunctivitis, myalgia, and diarrhoea should go to a nearby fever clinic as soon as possible.
