Dongguan products go viral in the 18th ICIF

On Decemeber 28, a series of creative cultural products including One-thousand-angle lantern and other intangible cultural heritage image's 3D metal puzzles, the original alloy toy Pangda, the 2022 Dongguan Basketball City Cultural Festival image ambassador LAURA, which represent the characteristics of Dongguan cultural and creative works, received considerable acclaim at the 18th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair ("ICIF").   

One-thousand-angle lantern, a unique traditional handicraft in Dongguan, was made into a 3D metal puzzle by Dongguan Weishi Culture Technology Co., Ltd. Combined tradition and modernity, it wons the title of "Dongguan Gifts".

Pangda, an alloy panda with varied Nano mechs, combining Taiji philosophy and top technology, represents the pop cluture of Dongguan. Born in an ex-manufacturer of vehicle models, Pangda embodies the manufacturing capability and cultural strength of Trendy Dongguan in its exquisite appearance and quality.

LAURA, 2022 Dongguan Basketball City Cultural Festival ambassador, makes a brilliant appearance in Dongguan exhibition hall in ICIF, showing Dongguan people's abiding love of basketball. Pop IP toys have contributed tremendously to promote the pop culture, making Dongguan's cultural industry more vivid.

This year, ICIF is held in 9-14 Halls of Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (No. 1, Zhancheng Road, Bao'an District, Shenzhen City). The exhibition is opened to the public from December 29 to January 2, 2023. Citizens can make a reservation for tickets through the WeChat mini program "文博会+".

The Dongguan exhibition hall is in No. B02, Hall 12 with an area of 210 square meters. It is divided into five sections, namely the pop toys, musicals, cultural tourism and consumption, camping festival, and basketball, fully displaying the achievements and highlights of Dongguan's pop culture from multiple perspectives.
