02 Water-splashing carnival

Venue: the greenway along the south bank of Yueming Lake

Activity content: Water carry the idea of wealth. Participants can play and splash water at each other freely, blessing and sharing happiness.

The festival attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year. Numerous guests from home and abroad gather in Dongkeng to shoot water at each other and pray for wealth and happiness. Water-splashing carnival has become one of the main ways to celebrate the festival in the town.
