Excitement is building as construction progresses on Dongguan's first Sam's Club, which is set to officially open in October. Located in Liaobu Town, north of the Dongguan Basketball Center, the project has reached a significant milestone with the main structure now complete. The store is scheduled to pass final inspections in September, paving the way for its grand opening the following month.

The Dongguan Sam's Club represents a substantial investment of approximately 486 million RMB and covers an area of over 23,000 square meters across three floors. The first and second floors will serve as the main shopping areas, while the third floor and rooftop, along with the basement, will house 1,050 parking spaces, accessible 24/7, ensuring a smooth and convenient shopping experience for customers.

In addition to construction updates, the issuance of Sam’s Club memberships in Dongguan has already begun. Since mid-June, residents have been able to sign up online, and promotional teams have been visiting local neighborhoods and major shopping centers to facilitate membership registrations. The store is also actively recruiting staff, offering positions in administration, finance, fresh food, technical services, e-commerce, and marketing, with over 500 job openings.

The store's convenient location makes it easily accessible by both car and public transportation. It is about 1 kilometer from the Liaobu Station on the Dongguan-Huizhou Intercity Railway. The journey from Xipingxi Station to Liaobu Station takes just two stops, costing 6 RMB and taking around 10 minutes. By car, the store is approximately 15 kilometers away, with a driving time of about 30 minutes.

Surprisingly, a "Top Night Market" basketball-themed container street project is situated just 200 meters from the Sam’s Club.

The opening of Sam’s Club is expected to significantly boost the local high-end retail sector, attracting nearly 3 million people in the surrounding area. This development will enhance consumer confidence and improve the quality of life for residents, bringing new vitality to the region.
