Recently, several new bus routes have been launched in Dongguan, offering free rides at certain stops.
Dongcheng Summer Tourism Lines
Dongcheng has introduced two new summer tourism bus lines: the Dongcheng North Line and the Dongcheng South Line. Both lines operate from 9:30 to 19:30.
The Dongcheng South Line starts at Huying Park Station and ends at Xiangyu Corridor Station. The one-way journey is about 12 kilometers, passing through 12 stations such as Yujing Garden, 33 Cultural and Creative Park, Huangqi Square, and Dongguan Numismatic Museum.
The North Line starts at Dongcheng Cultural Square Station and ends at Liuhua Metro Station.
The one-way journey is about 16 kilometers, passing through 10 stations including DYNACITY Shopping Center, Tang Art Museum, Hsu Fu Chi, Zhouwu Paddy Field.
Songshan Lake - Guangming Holiday Line
A new cross-city bus line connecting Dongguan's Songshan Lake directly to Shenzhen's Guangming district has begun operations. It only takes about an hour to travel between the two cities.
This express line features only eight stops and operates on weekends and holidays. The line connects major transportation hubs, covering rail transit, bus services, large shopping areas, and schools.
*Reminder: Free rides are available on the first three weekends, but online ticket are required, the fare will be waived upon payment.
Micro-Circulation Line
Starting August 1, the Micro-circulation Line around the 1st International Center will begin operations. During the trial period from August 1 to 31, rides will be free.
- Route: Hongfu Metro Station – Bai'an Center – Hongfu Metro Station (circular route)
- Service Time: 7:00-20:00
Zhangcun Market Line
This circular route connects Zhangcun Tianhe Center and Xicun, providing a convenient option for local residents.

- Fare: 2 RMB
