As National Day approaches, excitement fills the air in Dongguan. The city center is set to come alive with the much-anticipated Musical Light and Fountain Show and stunning new themed floral displays, creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.

The theme for this year's show promises an enchanting experience. Each performance lasts about 15 minutes, weaving together visuals and music to celebrate the grandeur of China's landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

The fountain show unfolds in five captivating acts. It begins with "GBA's sunrise," where a red sun rises over the Greater Bay Area, heralded by a cargo ship entering Humen Port. The next part, "Our beautiful country," showcases China's majestic landscapes accompanied by the melodic strains of "Jiuzhoutong（九州同）," creating an abstract visual feast. The third scene, "What defines China", celebrates the nation's achievements in technology and culture, blending traditional art forms with animations of rockets and athletic triumphs, highlighting Dongguan's basketball legacy. "Dongguan Melody" features vibrant visuals and upbeat music, reflecting the city's modern development. Finally, the last act "Happy Birthday to You" creates a joyful atmosphere with lights, music and fountains, expressing the heartfelt wishes of Dongguan residents for their beloved country.
