In the early morning, the Consul General of Brazil, Alan Coêlho de Séllos and his delegation arrived in Shipai Town, Dongguan. Their first stop was Goose Garden, where the air was filled with the aroma of roasting.
Here, the Consul General personally experienced the making of brick-kiln roast goose, from brushing on the glaze to taking the golden goose out of the oven, each step reflecting the wisdom and craftsmanship of age-old traditions.
After a short break, they savored the roast goose, its crispy skin and tender meat bursting with flavor, especially when paired with the local lai fun noodles.
Strolling outside Goose Garden, the Consul General and the host talked about the stories and dedication behind this culinary craft.
By afternoon, the mood turned youthful. The Consul General headed to Xiasha Village, stepping into its trendy toy street to feel another side of Shipai’s vitality.
