Dongguan has taken a major step in building a stronger support system for local companies expanding overseas. On June 9, the signing ceremony for the first group of professional service providers joining the Dongguan Enterprise Global Expansion Service Center was held in Nancheng. A total of 100 high-quality institutions from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area signed agreements to become part of the center's service network.
The move marks a new stage for Dongguan's long-planned public service platform for enterprises going global. As global industrial and supply chains continue to shift, and emerging markets such as ASEAN and the Middle East show growing potential, many Dongguan manufacturers are eager to explore overseas opportunities. However, small and medium-sized manufacturers often face challenges such as cross-border compliance risks, limited overseas operation experience and a lack of supporting resources.
The service center aims to bring together full-chain professional services covering law, finance, taxation, logistics, intellectual property, testing and certification. By connecting government departments, service institutions and enterprises, it will provide a one-stop platform to help companies solve practical problems in cross-border development and better participate in global competition.
The center will follow an "online first, offline in parallel" approach. Its online platform for both PC and mobile users has completed internal testing, while the offline service base will be located in Nancheng, taking advantage of the area's strong modern service sector, business facilities and central location. With the first 100 institutions now onboard, Dongguan is building a more complete ecosystem to help companies "go out, operate well, and return with value," injecting fresh momentum into the high-quality development of the city's foreign trade and real economy.
