The 17th Taiwan Famous Fair-Dongguan opened at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center on September 3, 2026. Covering 36,000 square meters, this year's event brings together more than 600 Taiwan-funded companies from across the Taiwan Strait, making it the largest one to date. The fair is divided into seven industry-focused zones, while more than 150 major buyers have been invited for targeted business matching.

Exhibitors are presenting their latest products and technologies across a wide range of sectors. A representative of Joie said the company's new products, including a child car seat equipped with dual cooling fans, had attracted considerable attention. FCS Group said the fair enabled companies to respond more precisely to market demand on the Chinese mainland and created new opportunities for cross-Strait industrial cooperation. Many exhibitors also see the event as a valuable platform for generating business and exploring partnerships across different industries.

Beyond advanced machinery and smart technologies, visitors can sample a variety of Taiwanese street food and drinks. One of the more eye-catching exhibits is a robotic barista that can prepare up to 200 cups of coffee a day, approximately one cup every two minutes. The fair has also attracted international buyers. Dalancourt from France said Dongguan's well-developed supply chain and the concentration of quality suppliers at the event made sourcing considerably more efficient.

Steffen Hangstein from Germany was impressed by the fair's broad selection, ranging from clothing and machinery to food, soft drinks and wine. He said the fair brought companies from many different sectors together under one roof and showed strong interest in both advanced industrial equipment and practical everyday products.
