Dongguan's listed manufacturers recorded strong growth in the first half of 2026, led by companies supplying essential components for AI servers.
The city currently has 64 A-share-listed companies. As of September 8, its three most valuable, Shengyi Technology, Dtech Technology and Shengyi Electronics, were worth RMB 355.3 billion, RMB 169.2 billion and RMB 106 billion respectively. Together, they represented about 45 percent of the combined market value of all Dongguan-listed companies.
All three companies more than doubled their net profits in the first half of the year. Their products are used at different stages of PCB manufacturing: Shengyi Technology produces copper-clad laminates, Guangdong Dtech Technology makes micro-drill bits, and Shengyi Electronics supplies high-end PCBs for AI servers. Their results show how rising investment in AI infrastructure is translating into real growth for Dongguan manufacturers.
The strength extends beyond these three companies. Dongguan businesses now supply AI-related products ranging from liquid-cooling systems and high-speed connectors to optical components, power supplies, machine-vision equipment and robotics. In 2025, the city's PCB industry generated RMB 55.911 billion in output, accounting for approximately 15.9 percent of China's total. One in every ten servers made in China is produced in Dongguan, while 95 percent of the necessary components can be sourced within a one-hour industrial radius.
This foundation is supported by a trillion-yuan electronic information industry and an equipment manufacturing sector valued at more than RMB 500 billion. Dongguan is now aiming to raise the output of its AI server supply chain to RMB 500 billion by 2030, with new policies supporting high-end PCBs, server hardware, high-speed connectivity and cooling technologies. The latest corporate results suggest that this expansion is already well underway.
