A major Guangdong recruitment drive arrived in Beijing on September 20 after its stop in Tianjin. Dongguan’s recruitment team headed to Communication University of China and Beijing Foreign Studies University.　 Dongguan offered altogether　over 4,800 quality jobs, going after talents in a bunch of ways－sharing job information, holding discussions between university representatives and the Dongguan delegation, plus doing city promotion, to make the Greater Bay Area more appealing to student job candidates.

To target suitable candidates, the event matched strong academic subjects from the universities with Dongguan’s needs in art toy and emerging industries. At Communication University of China, 33 Dongguan employers provided more than 1,200 job openings. Nearly 12 percent of these positions were for masters and PhD graduates, covering journalism and editing, directing, IP design, corporate operations and other fields.

At Beijing Foreign Studies University, 63 key local Dongguan companies offered over 3,600 positions. 13.4 % of them were for postgraduate and doctoral talents. Jobs in emerging and future industries took up 63.5 %, and there were 553 openings in artificial intelligence. These positions mainly focused on foreign trade, cross‑border operations, foreign‑related translation and similar areas.

Dongguan delegation will continue its Beijing tour at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications on September 21. In total, more than 1,700 employers will offer over 54,000 quality job openings online and offline during this recruitment trip.
