Given the current situation of epidemic prevention and control in Dongguan City, in order to balance COVID-19 response and social economic development, we hereby notify the adjustment of relevant epidemic prevention and control measures as follows:

1. Enclosed commercial spaces such as Karaokes, cinemas, theatres, chess & card rooms, Internet cafes, book bars, karaoke halls, bars, studios for role-playing games, escape rooms, museums, libraries, gyms, indoor swimming pools, foot massage, bathing centres (SPA), barber and beauty salons, health centres (physiotherapy centres) should be equipped with "location code", and can reopen in an orderly manner under the premise of strictly implementing containment measures such as disinfection, checking temperature, scanning location codes, wearing masks, and limiting the traffic at 75% of the maximum capacity. Employees in the above-mentioned enclosed business premises and customers entering these premises must present the negative result for a nucleic acid test conducted within 72 hours. All commercial catering establishments may resume regular operation while implementing the epidemic prevention and control requirements such as checking temperature and scanning location codes. 

Those failing to implement the above-mentioned measures may have to suspend operations for improvement. Those who caused the further spread of COVID-19 will be held legally liable in accordance with the laws and regulations.

2. Residents must voluntarily abide by the epidemic prevention regulations, develop anti-epidemic habits and maintain good hygiene by washing hands regularly, keeping clean, and using serving chopsticks. Please practice proper self-health monitoring. Individuals who experience fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, decreased sense of smell etc., shall wear the mask and go to a nearby fever clinic immediately, during which public transportation should be avoided.

This notification shall come into effect from April 13, and will be adjusted on a dynamic basis following the developments of prevention and control. Towns and districts with closed-off management areas, controlled areas or prevention areas shall continue to implement relevant epidemic prevention and control measures strictly.
