18th May is International Museum Day. This year, Dongguan's museums have launched 77 exhibitions and events in 7 categories for the public to enjoy. There are 6 events themed anti-epidemic, 14 events themed cultural relics & art appreciation, 11 events themed patriotism & revolutionary education, 16 events for history & culture, 2 events for science education, 5 interactive activities, and 23 online exhibitions.

Affected by recent events, anti-epidemic has become an important theme for the international museum day. Themed "Museums for Equality: Diversity & Inclusion," Dongguan Museum, Dongguan Exhibition Hall, the Opium War Museum, Dongguan Science &Technology Museum and other major exhibition halls have held a series of anti-epidemic related activities, including art, photography, illustration, online courses and much more.
