50 hairdressers from 13 barber shops went to Binhaiwan Bay Area Central Hospital of Dongguan, and set up a temporary "barber shop" in the hospital's basketball court on 24th February, to provide free haircuts for more than 300 medical staff and their families.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the whole country has engaged in rapid epidemic prevention and control measures. Frontline personnel need to work under strict protective measures for a long time, and long hair may cause discomfort. As most barber shops have not yet resumed normal business, hair-cutting is a problem for medical staff.
