The Dongguan COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command Office announced on 25th March that henceforth express couriers, food delivery personnel, housekeeping services, decoration and repair service personnel will be permitted to enter housing estates after temperature checking.

To move towards a restoration of normal everyday living, all communities in the city will cancel hard isolation and containment measures. Also, the orderly entry and exit of people and vehicles will not be restricted.

Public and business venues such as theatres, cinemas, swimming pools, Karaoke clubs, cyber cafes, bars, places for games and entertainment or business performances may reopened on the premise of maintaining epidemic prevention efforts. At the same time, ventilation, disinfection, temperature detection and crowd control measures shall be implemented.

To encourage normal business and production activities, various promotional events will be organized to stimulate consumption potential. While the suspension of group tours and "ticket & hotel" products (including cruises) continues, other tourism business activities are allowed to resume.

The notification also specifies that it is no longer necessary to wear masks when at home, outdoors, or in other well-ventilated and un-crowded places. However, it is still necessary to continue precautionary measures such as frequent hand washing, ensuring adequate ventilation, and maintaining no gatherings.
