DONGGUAN, China, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Defending champions the Guangdong Southeast Tigers eased past the Jiangsu Dragons 129-81 here on Friday to keep their unbeaten record since the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) resumed its season.

Guangdong clinched their 21st straight win with seven players scoring in double figures. The game was watched by Chinese renowned respiratory expert Zhong Nanshan, who was invited together with his wife as CBA special guests.

CBA president Yao Ming gave Zhong and his wife custom-made jerseys as special gifts to express gratitude for their efforts to help restart the league.

Guangdong turned the game into a rout when they outscored Jiangsu 35-17 in the second quarter to lead 72-41 at halftime.

"All I want in this game is to have my key players like Yi Jianlian get a rest," said Du Feng, head coach of Guangdong.

Zhao Rui and Wang Xinkai each had 17 points, while Zeng Fanri finished with 13 points and 17 rebounds for Guangdong. Jiangsu's Hou Yifan scored a game-high 29 points.

"It's hard to play against Guangdong no matter they played their best players or not, they have a deep bench," said Memi Becirovic, head coach of Jiangsu.
