    为加强我市城市形象宣传，展示东莞的独特魅力和发展活力。由市政协指导，东莞公共外交协会主办，厚街镇人民政府承办、执行，东莞市人民对外友好协会协办的2020“外国人讲东莞”故事会活动将于12月举办，届时将邀请外国友人包括个人、家庭、团队讲述在东莞工作、学习、生活的亲身经历和切实感受。现就故事进行征集，内容要求健康、真实，有感染力、充满正能量，充分体现积极进取、励志向上的精神风貌；故事取材不限，既可以是本人亲身经历、亲眼所见，也可以是团队、家庭的在莞故事，还可以是外国友人与东莞市民同心协力抗击疫情的正能量故事。

To showcase the unique charm and vitality of Dongguan, the 2020 "Foreigners Tell Stories about Dongguan" story-telling event is recently launched. The event is supervised by CPPCC Dongguan Committee, hosted by the Dongguan Public Diplomacy Association, organized by Houjie Township Government of Dongguan City, and coordinated by Dongguan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. It invites foreign friends (including individuals, families and teams) to share their personal experiences and true feelings about working, studying and living in Dongguan.

The content of the stories is required to be healthy, true, infectious, full of positive energy with an enterprising and motivational spirit. They can be personal experiences, or based on the stories of a team or family related to Dongguan. They can also be positive stories featuring foreign friends and Dongguan citizens working together to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you have a good story to share, please download and complete the registration form attached at the end of this article, then email it to wgrjdggs2@163.com. The organizer of the event plans to hold an on-site story-telling meeting in December this year during which some foreign friends will be selected and invited to tell interesting stories about Dongguan, showing the real Dongguan through foreign eyes.
