Mothers attend a breastfeeding activity in celebration of the World Breastfeeding Week in Dongguan.

To summon societal support and create an encouraging environment for breastfeeding, several hot mothers in Dongguan staged a public breastfeeding event to share their experience during World Breastfeeding Week. 

World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year from 1st - 7th August in 170 countries around the world. This global event is organized by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action. The theme for the year 2020 is "Support Breastfeeding for a healthier planet".

Many not-for-profit organizations in Dongguan have responded to this event with enthusiasm. Leyu & Gugu is one of them. In recent years, the organization has held public welfare activities to support breastfeeding. This year, it hired professional photographers to capture every beautiful moment of the activity.

The organization hopes to encourage social support for mothers who breastfeed in public and to improve public facilities, such as building more nursing rooms and encourage more women to breastfeed their babies.
