The craftsmanship of Chen's family, which is the production techniques of Guoshou Cantonese-style mahogany furniture, has come down hundred years.

Chen Tuling, the first-generation craftsman, went out to learn how to make mahogany furniture since his youth. After a decade of study and practice, Chen Tuling had fully mastered the production techniques of Cantonese-style mahogany furniture and had gradually become an expert in the industry.

Chen Xiannv, the second-generation inheritor, followed his father to make the crafts at an early age. He became a well-known carpenter in the area under 20-year-old.

The third inheritor Chen Guoshou, under his father Chen Xiannv, established a furniture manufacturing company whose activities cover a wide range of designing and manufacturing Cantonese-style mahogany furniture in Dongguan in the 1980s.

Now, the core techniques of the company has been passed to the fourth-generation inheritor Chen Ganfan and his younger brother Chen Weitang.
