The LAC cdiplomatic corps attended the opening ceremony of Latin American Photo Exhibition & Dongguan-Latin America Sister Cities Exhibition in Dongguan.

On October 13th, diplomatic corps and representatives of organizations from Latin American and Caribbean countries to China, and consular corps in Guangzhou (hereinafter referred to as "LAC diplomatic corps") visited Dongguan, attended the opening ceremony of Latin American Photo Exhibition & Dongguan-Latin America Sister Cities Exhibition and visited the local companies. Mr. Cang Feng, Deputy Director General of Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office, and Mr. Chen Zhiwei, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Dongguan Committee, attended the activities.

Mr. Chen Zhiwei extended a warm welcome to the LAC diplomatic corps. He said, Latin America and the Caribbean region is a natural extension of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and the important part of the Belt and Road. In recent years, Dongguan has increasingly more exchanges and cooperation with Latin America and the Caribbean. It is hoped that the two sides will continue to deepen friendship and cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, medical care, education and culture. Dongguan is open to business and talents from different countries to develop and invest in business here, embracing the new opportunities of Dongguan's development.

During the visit, the LAC diplomatic corps visited the Latin American Photo Exhibition & Dongguan-Latin America Sister Cities Exhibition. The Photo Exhibition, held in Dongguan Exhibition Center, presents photos of Latin American culture, scenic spots and the wonderful moments of the friendly exchanges between Dongguan and Latin American countries in recent years, enhancing public understanding of friendship cities and promoting cultural exchanges. 

The LAC diplomatic corps also went to Wonderful Group during the visit.
