In order to control the sources of imported infections, it has been decided that starting from May 18, 2022, Dongguan will suspend the door-to-door delivery service of inbound parcels but set up the centralized pickup stations for the recipients. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. There are 12 centralized pickup stations for inbound express parcels in the city. The recipients are requested to go to the designated station to pick up their express items in accordance with the notice from the postal courier enterprises.

2. The recipient is requested to provide their valid ID card (if the recipient has an entrusted agent to pick up the parcel, the valid ID cards of both the recipient and the authorized agent should be provided) and complete an information form before taking the packages.

3. The government encourages residents to commission the on-site staff to unpack and disinfect the parcels. If there are exceptional circumstances that it's inconvenient to dismantle and disinfect the parcels on-site. According to the relevant working guidance, the recipient is also requested to take precautionary measures and health monitoring.

This notification will be adjusted on a dynamic basis following the domestic and overseas epidemic developments and the need for prevention and control.
