On June 14 (the 16th day of May in the lunar calendar), the 2022 Dongguan Dragon Boat Month concluded with a perfect ending. Although there's no race competition this year, various dragon boat race shows and activities recreat the exciting scenes of the festival.

Since 2017, under the guidance of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Tourism and Sports, Dongguan Culture Center has held a series of activities during Dongguan Dragon Boat Month for six consecutive years. The dense water network of Dongjiang River has bred Dongguan's rich dragon boat folk culture. The Dragon Boat Month starts from the 8th day of April in the lunar calendar, and ends on the 16th day of the 5th lunar month, integrating the water town cultural tourism resources and lighting up the ever-burning lamps of culture in Dongguan.
