At about 8:00 am on June 20, some netizen posted information and professed that Dalang town in Dongguan had a COVID outbreak, the factory where positive cases were found had been closed, and workers could not enter or leave. Dongguan Internet Counter-Rumors Alliance were informed by the Dongguan COVID-19 Prevention & Control Command Office and confirmed that it's totally untrue.

Since June 18, there have been no new local COVID cases found in Dongguan. From 0:00 to 24:00 on June 19, there were no new local positive infections in the province. The general public are requested to consciously maintain a good network environment, please do not trust, spread or create rumors.
