Dongguan ranked 16th among the top 100 cities for high-quality development in China, and 28 towns of Dongguan were selected as the top 500 towns in the country, and 13 towns were among the top 100 towns! Moreover, Chang'an Town ranked 6th among the top ten towns in China.

Dongguan's township economic vitality continues to release, and few cities in China can be compared to Dongguan in the field of township economy. The high-quality economic development of Chang’an Town is mainly due to the continuous promotion of modernization in the industrial system, which is the result of accelerating the cultivation of the new drivers of high-quality development.

Dongguan strives to form a leading development sequence, which includes two towns with a GDP of 100 billion yuan, three towns with a GDP of more than 80 billion yuan and five towns with a GDP of more than 50 billion yuan within five years.
