From 00:00-12:00 on August 31, Dongguan reported 1 asymptomatic case who was identified during the period of centralized quarantine. Detailed information is as follows:

Asymptomatic case: Female, 12, living in Zhutang Village, Fenggang Town. On August 21 and 29, her nucleic acid test results were both negative.

The case was a close contact of the previously reported asymptomatic cases in other city, and tested positive during the period of centralized quarantine. She was transferred to the designated hospital for isolation and medical observation in a closed-loop procedure, and was diagnosed as an asymptomatic case after further examination and expert consultation.

Otherwise, in the early morning of August 31, Dongguan was notified by other city that a positive case reported in that city has been to Fenggang Town of our city, and commuted between the two cities every day from August 24 to 30.

To eliminate the risk of the spread of the epidemic, citizens who have been to the following places at the following times, please take the initiative to report immediately to the community, employers or hotel where you live, and  cooperate with epidemic prevention and control work. People who experience fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, decreased sense of smell (taste), nasal congestion, runny nose, conjunctivitis, myalgia, and diarrhoea should go to a nearby fever clinic as soon as possible.
