Asymptomatic case: Male, 31, self-employed, living in Xitailong Village, Shatian Town. He tested negative on September 11 and from September 14-17.

The case was a close contact of asymptomatic case reported on September 15 in Dongguan, and tested positive during the period of centralized quarantine. He was transferred to the designated hospital for isolation and medical observation in a closed-loop procedure, and was diagnosed as an asymptomatic case after further examination and expert consultation. The traced close contacts and sub-close contacts have been under management as required. Environmental nucleic acid sampling and terminal disinfection have been carried out in all venues involved.
