From 00:00-12:00 on November 1, Dongguan reported 2 asymptomatic cases in Dongcheng District who were truck drivers and close contacts, and identified during the period of centralized quarantine. Detailed information is as follows:

Asymptomatic case 1: Male, 40, a truck driver came from outside Dongguan. He's a close contact of asymptomatic cases reported from 00:00-12:00 on October 30 and tested negative from October 26-29. 

Asymptomatic case 2: Male, 55, a truck driver came from outside Dongguan. He's a close contact of asymptomatic cases reported from 00:00-12:00 on October 30 and tested negative from October 25-30.

On October 29, the two drivers drove trucks to Dongguan from other cities, and were put under centralized quarantine control when arriving. They tested positive during the period. The cases were transferred to the designated hospital for isolation and medical observation in a closed-loop procedure and diagnosed as asymptomatic cases after further examination and expert consultation. 

The two cases have no social activities since arriving in Dongguan, and the trucks and venues involved have undergone disinfection.

There are sporadic domestic outbreaks and local outbreaks of COVID-19, and the epidemic prevention and control situation in surrounding cities are grim and complex. The general public is requested to consciously abide by the relevant epidemic prevention and control regulations, firmly establishing the awareness that "everyone is responsible for their own health".
