Dongguan has proudly secured its position among the top 100 cities in China for digital innovation and economic development. The release of the "2023 China Digital City Competitiveness Research Report" at the 2023 China International Digital Economy Expo held in Shijiazhuang on September 6 revealed that Guangdong province excels in digital urban development, with a leading score of 92.9. Dongguan, in particular, clinched the 21st position among the top 100 cities.

This recognition follows Dongguan's earlier achievement of being selected as one of the first pilot cities for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, earning a remarkable second place in the national rankings.

2023 China Digital City Competitiveness Research Report evaluates cities' comprehensive digital capabilities across six key dimensions: infrastructure, digital economy, governance, public services, innovation, and sustainability. It serves as a valuable reference for urban digital transformation efforts nationwide.
