The newly upgraded Humen Railway Station held its opening ceremony and commenced its trial operation on September 26.

Transportation hub

Humen Railway Station is now a multi-dimensional transportation hub, seamlessly connecting high-speed trains, subways, intercity trains, buses, taxis, e-hailing cars, and private vehicles. Passengers can transfer within just 10 minutes in the station, guided by clear signage and facilitated by escalators and elevators.

The hub boasts 14 bus routes, 80 designated taxi waiting spots, 70 spots for ride-sharing services, and an underground parking facility with a capacity of 930 vehicles.

Moreover, three new municipal roads have been constructed to connect with Guantai Road(莞太路) and Zhanbei Road(站北路), forming circular routes around the station vicinity to alleviate traffic congestion.
