The 8th China International Food and Ingredients Expo and the 2nd China International Pre-made Food Industry Expo kicked off at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center on April 12, marking the beginning of a three-day event.

This Expo comprehensively showcases new products, technologies, and achievements in the agricultural and food industry. It aims to create a platform that integrates trade promotion, investment cooperation, innovation aggregation, learning, and exchanging, facilitating deep integration along the industry chain, and promoting high-quality development in China's agricultural and food industry.

The exhibition

The exhibition, featuring ten major zones, covers a total area of 80,000 square meters and attracts over 1,500 domestic and foreign exhibitors from more than 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, as well as over 20 countries and regions.

Of particular note is the participation of more than ten pre-made food industry parks and bases from across Guangdong Province, showcasing new products, technologies, and formats in the pre-made food industry. This initiative aims to further integrate the first, second, and third industries. Many advanced Dongguan manufacturing enterprises are present, showcasing innovative application technologies and equipment, such as the newly developed "stir-fry machine" and "one-stop" food cleaning machine.

It is worth noting that this is the fourth time Dongguan has hosted this industry expo. Over the past four years, the industrial output value of the food and beverage processing and manufacturing industry in Dongguan has increased to 120.174 billion yuan in 2023, representing a growth of 32.2%.
