Starting from April 23, security checks at Guangdong Intercity stations including Foshanxi Station, Zhaoqing Station, Dongguanxi Station, and Huadu Station will be mutually recognized with those of China Railway. Passengers will no longer need to exit the station for transfers or undergo repeated security checks, enabling seamless travel between intercity and national railway networks and significantly shortening transfer times.

Intercity railways adhere strictly to the security standards outlined in the "Catalog of Items Prohibited or Restricted from Being Carried or Transported by Railway Passengers," aligning with those of China Railway. To further facilitate passenger travel, under the guidance of the National Railway Administration, the Guangzhou Railway Administration, and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation, a specialized team has been established to actively promote mutual security check recognition between Guangdong Intercity and the Guangzhou Railway Administration.

With mutual security check recognition in place, passengers transferring from intercity railways to China Railway will no longer need to undergo secondary security checks. With just one security check, they can seamlessly transfer within stations, enhancing travel efficiency and convenience for passengers.
