The 15th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China), which kicked off on November 12, is drawing global attention with cutting-edge innovations in aerospace, defense, and technology. One of the most exciting developments this year is the debut of Dongguan's Special Pavilion, showcasing the city's prowess in high-tech manufacturing and innovation.
Dongguan's Special Pavilion is located in Hall 11, covering 250 square meters and featuring a wide range of products across four main sectors: new materials, information technology, aviation and aerospace/maritime equipment, and shooting systems. The exhibition highlights Dongguan's growing role as a hub for advanced manufacturing and research.
Innovative products & futuristic systems
Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory presented high-performance materials designed to enhance the endurance and protective capabilities of aircraft. Their lithium-ion battery team presented high-density battery materials with a lifespan of over 1,000 cycles. Additionally, their lightweight, high-power-density heating film offers solutions for ice protection and thermal management in key aircraft areas.
Smart Materials and Sensor Devices Group unveiled its EV-ATV all-terrain vehicle platform, equipped with advanced sensors and designed for multi-purpose use, including in drones and emergency services. It can provide a versatile system for coordinated operations, including with UTV patrol vehicles.
Pudu Aviation's standout product is a drone designed for both reconnaissance and strike missions, offering precise targeting and rapid deployment. It is suited for tasks like targeted patrols and demolition.
Known for its shooting training systems, Special Pie displayed precision shooting simulators and interactive training setups. They also showcased advanced accessories like red dot sights and rifle suppressors, along with lightweight smart soldier transport platforms and unmanned vehicles.
